Laundry Refresh for under $100

What a fun month it’s been updating and refreshing my laundry room for under $100!

Special thanks to Erin from Lemons, Lavender, and Laundry for hosting another round of the $100 Room Challenge! This is by far one of my most favorite things to do and I am so thankful for her coordinating!

Join myself and other talented bloggers as we take on the $100 Room Challenge.

But first, let’s recap! We bought our home 4 years ago and this is the laundry room we were dealing with. I did update the laundry room, but the floor always bothered me.

Before… so UGLY

Last week I shared how I stenciled the floor to look like faux brick and why I had to stencil instead of replace because of the cracked tile.

Earlier this week I shared my totally free laundry hamper inspired Pottery Barn dupe.

Pottery Barn Inspired Hanging Laundry Hamper

So all in total I spent just under $100, but I am so happy with how it all turned out! I know it’s not a complete room transformation like some of the amazing bloggers who transformed their spaces. On the other hand I can totally mark this project off my list. Not only is it more functional, but this room is pretty making one of my least favorite jobs a little more tolerable. 😉

And really that’s all we want, to have spaces that make us smile.

Don’t forget to check out the other amazing reveals for the final week of the $100 Room Challenge!

Best,
Brooke

I think that this little space came together so nicely! It’s the small details in a house that make it a home. Well done Brooke- congrats!

Anything to get ideas and inspiration on what we wanted in our own home. Believe it or not, we’ve moved 10 times. Of those 4 were homes we bought and one of them a home we built. Needless to say when we saw the online photos of our “hopeful” future home plan, we agreed we had at least one more move in us. What’s something you’re looking for in your next home?

One of my favorite things to do is take long walks through construction sites surrounded by plumbing and framing. No lie. This is where we’ve gone multiple evenings over the last couple of weeks. This place has brought us a lot of peace and on the blog I’m spilling the beans on our secret.
