Fall Finally Came- Let’s Decorate!
The weather is starting to cool down, the leaves are starting to fall, which means it’s finally time to decorate!

If you haven’t started decorating for fall, or you need some decor ideas, I’ve teamed up with a few of my blogger friends to bring loads of inspiration. Be sure to take a look at all they have to offer because you will not believe the talent that’s in this group.
But before you leave, check out what I’ve done around my little casa.
I don’t know about you, but I have the hardest time switching from summer to fall. Especially when the weather is still way in the 90’s. This past week I’ve seen a steady break in the weather and I just could’t resist. A few weeks ago I showed you how I made my fall wreath and set up our front porch.
Inside the house, the first area that got a little fall update is our foyer.
This past summer I found some gorgeous dark teal pillow covers from Ikea. I realized when I got them home, I had a lot of other things on hand that matched the teal as well. This made shopping my own home a lot easier, and way cheaper, instead of buying a bunch of new fall decor.
I did add a new rust colored throw blanket from Target and some fall faux stems.
Walmart had a lot of great pieces that matched really well with our decor. I picked up a teal vase, which I put on our table. A serving platter I used for display in our new nook above the stove. And a cute bowl which we’re using as a fruit bowl.
Typically I never get so lucky that things come together, but this year I struck gold.
Do you decorate every room for fall, or just a few?
Keeping it simple this year I decided to only decorate the main area of the house and not every room. And honestly I’m still sort of figuring out where I want a few things to go since we’ve made a lot of changes inside our house this year.
I am still so in love with how the kitchen cabinets turned out. I can’t wait to share the full kitchen reveal, but for now I am loving how adorable it looks for fall. My youngest asked if we could hold off on putting doors under the sink because she really liked the skirt. A piece of flannel material pulled all the colors I used to decorate, and added another fall touch.
Once again felt pumpkins I found at Target tied in nicely with the Ikea pillow covers. And if your family is anything like ours, keeping lots of blankets around is key.
I love how everything turned out and I’m looking forward to spending time with my little family and friends making many fall memories. Please be sure to check out the other amazing fall homes from my fellow blogger friends.
Happy Fall!
Brooke
