3. Board and Batten
I created my own spin on the traditional board and batten in my cozy vintage inspired home office.
Challenged with a small access door to the attic, I wanted a wood accent wall that would best help conceal the door.
The board and batten along with the paint, Brooklyn by BEHR, was the perfect choice for the new home office.
2. DIY Diamond Trellis Wood Accent Wall
The first quarantine project we completed during the spring of 2020, was the DIY diamond trellis wood accent wall.
Instead of taking the design around the entire room, we focused on the wall just behind her bed.
This diamond pattern accent wall played very well into the floral theme we had for our daughter’s room.
The paint color, NYPD by BEHR, was the perfect dusty navy color that matched the bedding perfectly.
