My top 3 most favorite DIY wood accent wall projects
There is just something about a DIY wood accent wall that will always pull at my heart strings.
Over the last couple of years I have tried to up my DIY game. Most specifically by changing up and taking on so many types of wood accent walls.

I’ve compiled a list of my top 3 most favorite DIY wood accent wall projects.
3. Board and Batten
I created my own spin on the traditional board and batten in my cozy vintage inspired home office.
Challenged with a small access door to the attic, I wanted a wood accent wall that would best help conceal the door.
The board and batten along with the paint, Brooklyn by BEHR, was the perfect choice for the new home office.
2. DIY Diamond Trellis Wood Accent Wall
The first quarantine project we completed during the spring of 2020, was the DIY diamond trellis wood accent wall.
Instead of taking the design around the entire room, we focused on the wall just behind her bed.
This diamond pattern accent wall played very well into the floral theme we had for our daughter’s room.
The paint color, NYPD by BEHR, was the perfect dusty navy color that matched the bedding perfectly.

1. DIY Chevron patterned shadow wood accent wall.
To be honest, I’m not quite sure what to call this DIY wood accent wall ,except it was by far my most favorite wall to create.
Judging from my Pinterest traffic, this wall has been a crowd favorite for quite some time too.
I’m using this DIY wood accent wall in place of a headboard to add interest to the primary bedroom.
Again, another DIY wood accent wall we were sad to leave behind from our last home.
I am definitely trying to figure out where I can do this accent wall in our new home.

I absolutely love how each of those spaces turned out, yet they are so different from one another.
