Must Have Items We Didn’t Know We Needed For Our Home Until Now

I’ve made some purchases recently for our home and these items have changed our home for the better.

I’m all about a good testimonial and sometimes its hard living in a world not knowing who truly loves something or who is being paid to say they love something.

These items I’m about to share I have used and truly love and no one is paying me to say a word. (Except I’m sharing my affiliate links so I will get paid if you do buy something.)

**This post contains affiliate links for various brands including Amazon, which does not cost you anything extra, but helps me earn a small commission that keeps my business grow. Click here for my complete disclosure.

Bedroom decor favorites

Bedside lamps

I was on the hunt for lamps for our primary bedroom and I found these beauts. (A little word of warning though, I did have to put them together not that it was complicated.)

I love that the lamps they’re dimmable perfect for the nights I’m not ready to go to bed and my husband is. I can keep the light on without it being super bright.

I also love the fact that it has USB ports on the back so I can easily plug things in like my phone charger without having to dig for the outlet behind the table.

Not to mention I found the most perfect charging cords that no longer break and are long enough to reach anywhere.

EURO pillows and covers

I have no idea what happened to our last euro pillows, but they were flat as pancakes, so I found these euro pillow inserts and they are amazing!

I also found these farmhouse style euro pillow covers for the pillows and they’re super soft and gorgeous.

Chaise lounge cover

After I had my surgery I decided we needed a permanent chair in our bedroom so we had more space to spread out and not cram all in our bed.

I found the perfect chaise lounge chair on Facebook marketplace, but it had a couple spots I couldn’t get out.

I found this super soft chaise lounge chair cover that actually matches our bedroom better and of course having dogs the fact that it’s washable is a huge perk.

Cleaning favorites

Tineco Mop/ vac

I love having hardwood floors, but the idea of vacuuming THEN mopping just sounded like a whole lot of work, until I found this mop vac.

I love that it’s self propelled, cordless, self cleaning, and that it really works to get the dirt out.

Baseboard Buddy

Getting older and my back and knees don’t want to cooperate, but I needed something to clean the dog hair off the baseboards.

I found this little contraption and it makes it so much easier to not only clean the baseboards, but also around door and window frames.

Rubbermaid Power Scrubber

We have a lot of grout in our primary bathroom and a regular tooth brush wasn’t cutting it to get in all the crevices.

This tool makes it so much easier to scrub those small spaces without hurting my hands.

Outdoor favorites

Patio Lounge Chairs

We bought these lounge chairs when we put our patio in at our new house and they have held up so well under the hot South Carolina sun

They are extremely comfortable, super easy to move around, and able to be stacked if you need them out of the way.

During quarantine I purchased these lounge chairs too and they have been a fun addition to our backyard.

If you’re like me, laying on my stomach is not so fun because my arms go numb or I get bored.

Of course this small clip on fan from RYOBI has been a lifesaver in this South Carolina heat.

Patio Lounge Chair Towels

One of my biggest complaints with any lounge chair is finding a towel that not only stays in place, but covers the entire chair.

This lounge chair towel checks all the boxes for our family as the top of the towel slips over the top of the lounge and the towel covers all the way to the bottom of the chair.

RYOBI Speaker

The RYOBI speaker connects to bluetooth, can charge your phone, and uses the same RYOBI battery I use for all my tools.

The sounds is great and can handle being outside whether we’re working in the yard, lounging on the patio, or doing projects.

RYOBI Bug Zapper

Another battery operated favorite that makes it tolerable to be outside it the RYOBI bug zapper.

Simply hang or place on a table and the easy pull out tray makes disposing of the bugs a breeze.

Final thoughts

One promise I made to myself when I started this blogging journey was to not share items unless I truly believed in them.

Of course any of the links I shared above I will get a small commission, but these are truly things I use and love. No one is paying me to say these things.

I’ve had my share of trial and error to find these products I have found and love and I hope that you find a little something you’re looking for too.
