Easy and inexpensive sunglass holder

What do you have when you cross a Target bargain bin wood cut out with a thrifted leather belt?

Only the most easy and inexpensive sunglass holder.

I’m teaming up with a few friends of mine to show all the different ideas we came up with for the Target bargain bin wood cut out.

I love when function and organization come together in a stylish way.

Living in the south I’ve acquired quite the collection of sunglasses and wanted a way to store them all so they are easy to see.

When I redid our primary closet, it’s one of the last projects to mark off my list.

I stumbled upon the blank wood cutouts, I loved the shape of the hexagon and the natural color and the best part it was only $3!

In wanting to keep this project simple, and inexpensive, I thought it would be perfect to pair it up with a thrifted leather belt I picked up for $1.50.

When I say this sunglass holder was a quick project, I’m not even joking.

I first used my Ryobi drill to take off the leather hanging loop already on the wood cut out.

Using a miter trim cutter I cut the leather belt down to size.

On the back I secured the ends with two small screws and added a toothed hanger.

That’s it.

This easy and inexpensive sunglass holder is the perfect addition to my closet.

This sunglass holder is a cute accent and has a very important job in my primary closet and all for less than $5.

And I was able to complete this project in less than 10 minutes, you can’t beat that kind of DIY.

I may add a little something to the top later, but for now it’s perfect.

Don’t forget to check out my friends who give their own spin on the Target Bargain Bin find.
